League play kicked off this week with two great matches and the GLHE having its first official skate!
The team name theme this year is “Jets 1.0” and if there were an award for first team to name themselves, Team 1 would take it! They have officially become “Full Housley”.
Both games this weekend featured a hattrick, Roger Durand for Full Housley and Rich Deschamps (who reportedly forewent his traditional pre-game banana for 3 hot dogs) for the as yet unnamed “Team 2”. Things are shaping up nicely for another exciting and high flying Garage League season!
Results, Standings & Stats pages are all updated – keep an eye on them throughout the year.
